In anticipation of the international exhibition "Auto+Automechanika Saint Petersburg", which will be held from September 10 to 12, 2025 at the ExpoForum convention and exhibition center, the project is preparing for the next stage of development in Moscow - in 2026, the exhibition will change its location, expanding its geography and strengthening its industry coverage. The updated format of the event involves not only moving to Moscow, but will also present a car showroom and a rich entertainment program. Visitors will see car models exclusive to the Russian market, and participants will see new opportunities for business communication.
In line with government policy, the key focus of the exhibition is strengthening the technological sovereignty of the automotive industry. Despite the changed market conditions, the industry has reached a significant level of development and continues to increase its technological sovereignty in the new economic realities.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin emphasized at a strategic session in June: “For technological sovereignty, it is critically important to increase industrial capacity and form a modern ecosystem around the automotive industry”.
The event will become a catalyst for positive changes in the automotive industry and an effective communication platform between representatives of business, government, the professional community and car enthusiasts for the further development of solutions for attracting investment, import substitution and the creation of new jobs.
The Russian automobile industry needs a powerful reboot. A platform is needed that will become a center of competence, a new starting point and assembly. The revived legendary exhibition "Auto + Automechanika" can become such an effective tool. In 2026, the exhibition in Moscow will have a new concept, an expanded business program with the participation of international experts, and special zones for innovation. The exhibition will be located on the site of one of the largest exhibition complexes in Moscow, the Timiryazev Center. The event will be held from May 12 to 14, 2026. Among the participants are companies from Russia, China, Turkey, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, India, and the UAE.
