Trams, vintage cars, an open-air exhibition and free treats — on Moscow Transport Day, the city center will travel back in time.
On July 11, 2026, Moscow will celebrate Moscow Transport Day with a grand retro transport parade. A column of vintage trams and classic cars will drive through the city's central streets, and an open-air exhibition will unfold on Chistoprudny Boulevard. Admission is free for everyone.

Retro Transport Parade: How It Will Happen
The retro transport column will start on July 11 at 11:30 AM from the Novokuznetskaya metro station. The route will pass through the center of Moscow, with the finish line at Chistoprudny Boulevard. There, from noon until 6:00 PM, a large retro transport exhibition will be open.
The parade will feature 18 trams from different generations — from old wooden carriages to mid-20th-century models. Alongside them, retro cars will drive by — vintage vehicles that today can hardly be seen anywhere except in museums or at collector exhibitions.

What Awaits Guests at Chistoprudny Boulevard

Chistoprudny Boulevard will become an open-air museum for one day. The organizers have prepared a rich program for guests of all ages:
Interactive zones in the spirit of the 1930s
Reenactors in historical costumes, stylized decorations, the sounds of a gramophone — everything to make you feel like a guest from another era.
Exhibition of historical transport worker uniforms
Uniforms of transport employees from different years — from pre-revolutionary tunics to Soviet peaked caps. A unique collection that tells the history of urban transport through clothing.
Retro Rally "Stolitsa. Redis Classic Tour"
Participants of the historic rally in vintage cars will start and finish at Chistoprudny Boulevard. A spectacular event for connoisseurs of automotive history.
Children's areas, masterclasses and games
A special program has been prepared for young guests: creative workshops, board games and activities that will keep children engaged while adults enjoy the festive atmosphere.
Free treats and drinks
Ice cream, lemonade and other pleasant little things — the organizers have made sure that guests won't go hungry.
Performances by artists
Participants of the "Music in the Metro" project and the Academic Choir of the Moscow Metro will perform on stage. Live music in the city center against the backdrop of historical decorations will create a true time portal.

A Holiday for All Generations
On Moscow Transport Day, the city reveals its history not through boring lectures, but through a living, ringing, moving parade. This is an opportunity to see how the capital's transport has changed over the decades and to feel the atmosphere of bygone eras.
Everyone will find something for themselves here: technology enthusiasts — unique exhibits, families with children — entertainment and treats, and everyone else — an opportunity to spend a weekend day in the center of Moscow with benefit and pleasure.

Don't miss the chance to immerse yourself in the history of the capital's transport! Come to Chistoprudny Boulevard on July 11 — it will be interesting for both adults and children.
