Yandex Elektro has issued a certificate of conformity for components required for the after-sales service of XPeng G9 and XPeng G6 electric vehicles — including drive shafts, suspension components, brake discs and pads, sensors, anti-theft systems, wiring harnesses, thermostats, cooling system components, wheels, tires, and body parts. This indicates that Yandex Elektro is continuing preparations to potentially introduce XPeng models to the Russian market.
The G6 and G9 are electric crossovers with a range of up to 570 km. Declarations of conformity have already been completed, and certification is underway in Belarus. The OTTSS (Vehicle Type Approval) will be valid across all EAEU member states.
In April, XPeng unveiled its flagship crossover, the GX, at the Beijing Auto Show. Its design resembles the Range Rover, with similar body proportions, a straight waistline, narrow elongated front optics, and a "floating roof."
