Russian automakers plan to produce nearly a dozen new hybrid vehicle models in the coming years, according to Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov.
According to the minister, the domestic automotive industry is confidently moving toward technologically advanced and versatile hybrids. In addition to already known models such as Evolute and Voyah, factories intend to launch production of about ten more such vehicles in the coming years.

Meanwhile, the share of hybrids and electric vehicles in the Russian new car market reached 8% in the first half of the year, up 2.6% compared to the previous year, the minister concluded.
Thus, the Russian automotive industry is gradually increasing its presence in the eco-friendly transport segment, following the global trend toward electrification.
