A presentation of the new Russian tire Ikon Autograph Ultra 5, designed for powerful and sports cars, took place in Moscow. The tire company Ikon Tyres officially unveiled its new summer model of the premium Autograph family in the Ultra High Performance (UHP) category.
The main highlight of the new product: unlike the Ikon Autograph Ultra 2 model, which was created in the image of Nokian Hakka Black 2, the "five" is fully developed by Russian experts from the Ikon Tyres product development department. No borrowings — only original engineering.
The developers focused on combining high-speed performance, safety, and increased durability — a traditional compromise for UHP tires that engineers tried to shift in favor of the driver.

Speed and Reliability The tire received speed indices W and Y, corresponding to maximum speeds of 270 and 300 km/h respectively. The special design of the textile cord minimizes overheating and maintains strength even at极限 modes.
Increased Durability One of the main problems of UHP tires is rapid wear due to soft rubber. In the Ikon Autograph Ultra 5, the rubber compound composition is optimized: the tire feels slightly stiffer than the previous model, which should extend its service life. To control the degree of wear, all sizes are equipped with a tread depth indicator with a precise 7–5–3 mm scale — developed specifically taking into account the specifics of UHP tire operation.

Safety on Wet Roads The key safety element is the rapid removal of water from the contact patch. Three-dimensional shoulder blocks with special geometry effectively cut through the water film, while wavy sipes create additional sharp cutting edges, increasing the total length of working edges. This reduces the risk of hydroplaning and ensures reliable grip on wet surfaces.
In addition, the new generation rubber compound with modified rubbers and unique additives enhances adhesion to wet asphalt over a wide temperature range. The manufacturer claims that high grip performance is maintained even after significant mileage.
Comfort and Style Special attention is paid to acoustic comfort. The special layout of the geometric elements of the tread pattern, combined with the optimized rubber compound composition, reduces noise levels during rolling.
The appearance was also not overlooked: all sizes are equipped with a rim protection flange, and the sidewall features a "velvet" effect created by a microscopic texture applied during the vulcanization stage. This gives the tire a premium appearance that will be appreciated by sports car owners.
Individual Design For each of the 54 sizes (with rim diameters from 17 to 20 inches), the depth, shape, and geometry of the tread pattern are individually adapted. This approach guarantees identical steering responses and uniformity of grip and wear characteristics regardless of the chosen size.
Additional Bonus: Unlimited Warranty The Ikon Autograph Ultra 5, like other models of the premium Autograph family, comes with an unlimited extended warranty. In the event of unintentional damage, the tire will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
Sales of the new model are scheduled to begin in the summer season of 2027. The tire will be available in the markets of Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. The company also plans to export to far-abroad countries after certification. It is also possible that 21-inch versions will appear in the future — such sizes are already available in the Ikon Autograph Ultra 2 lineup.
